"An Audience With Zesh Rehman"
On 15th November 2011 the ZRF held an event at Selhurst Park in conjunction with Active Communities Network, Crystal Palace Football Club, Sport for Social Change Network and Kick it Out.
The event tackled various issues in the game and prompted both conversation and discussion on such topics as:-
- How to break down barriers
- The importance of role models
- How to balance sport and school work
- Parental support
- Determination
- Women and sports participation at all levels
- Information on a number of anti-racist and community projects,
- The future for British-Asians in football.
